Marshmelody Blog is a site about audiovisual production, crafted to foster experience exchange between a community of passionate professionals and artists, designed to inspire anyone to produce beautiful content.
Launched in 2021 by Marshmelody Team as an inclusive channel to promote better content creation, Marshmelody is expanding to become a hub for soundtrack solutions, from music libraries to online classes, from casual and professional chats to social inclusion. It is above all an uncompromised look at the powerful combination between audio, video, and passion.

Marshmelody was born during the COVID-19 pandemics when the founders and advisors were discussing possibilities to give musicians and artists a new source of work and inspiration when the music scene was severely affected by population lockdown. Formed by a group of Brazilian entrepreneurs and musicians living in New York (well, most of them at least), MarshmeloDNA is grounded on the concept of giving back to the music enthusiasts and the communities revolving around art production.

Jair Oliveira is a Brazilian music producer, singer, songwriter, and actor. Son of legendary singer Jair Rodrigues, started his own musical career at the age of 6.
One of the members of the famous Brazilian children’s group Balão Mágico during the ’80s. He graduated Summa Cum Laude at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston – USA, in December of 1997. Creative director/partner of S de Samba, one of the most important audio production houses in Brazil since 1998. Released over 13 solo albums, including the successful multiplatform project Grandes Pequeninos and received many Latin Grammy Awards nominations as producer and solo artist (including the recent nomination for Best Pop Contemporary Album in the Portuguese Language for his 2019 album “Selfie”).

Musician, Interpreter, Composer, Producer, and Musical Director, Wilson Simoninha has always been accompanied by music. Son of one of the greatest artists in Brazil, the singer Simonal, Simoninha brings a lifetime of musical experience in his background. Producing and performing solo works and side projects such as O Baile do Simonal and Os Filhos dos Caras. Beyond the stage, Simoninha leads S de Samba as a Music Producer, where he is a partner of the singer and composer Jair Oliveira. Always awarded at important festivals such as Cannes 2019, where he won two Bronze Lions and 1 Silver. In 2018 he won a Kikito with his brother Max de Castro for Best Soundtrack for Simonal – The movie tells his family’s story at the Gramado Festival.
Since 2016 he took on the musical direction of the Domingão do Faustão TV show broadcasted by Rede Globo in Brazil.

Marcelo is an experienced engineering leader with a passion for startups and consumer-facing products. He has extensive experience working on distributed systems and platforms but has an intense interest in product strategy and planning, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Marcelo has spent most of his leadership career leading technology initiatives in the entertainment, media, audio streaming, and consumer-facing industries. His background working in tech companies (Netflix, Spotify, Samsung, IBM, and others) joined with experience in startups (from early stage to acquisition) as co-founder taught him how to build products and grow companies in a scalable way.

Felipe is a Digital Marketing Pro and spare time drummer & audiophile. For the past 20 years, he has been leading marketing initiatives in companies such as Amazon, Audi, Volkswagen, and Riot Games.
Felipe was born in Sao Paulo but his work and passion to explore cultures drove him to live in different countries. He is currently based in New York where he leads Global Media Strategies for Google.

Felipe has professional and academic IT experience. At the beginning of 2000, due to his passion for technology and innovation, he started his pursuit for software development, processes, methodology, and quality.
During his professional path, he has worked for well-known entertainment and insurance companies in Brazil as well as tech startups in Canada and Portugal. With a dash of coffee associated with final product quality, Felipe has a continuous interest in technological innovation and startups.
